Big hair

I've been doing anything but film work, I think i need a break lol.  This was inspired by my sisters hair. She does this weird poofy dome thing but it looks good.  When I attempt it though I look like my hair has been dragged through a blender.

Heres another rough layout.  I'm still playing around with different ways, I dont believe I'll have any line work showing in the end though.  Ahh I'm having too much fun playing with different things :D
